CRHighway is a community built in friendship and shared experiences.  We expect our guests and neighbors to be good Highway citizens.

In the simplest of terms:  Share the road, be polite, wave at your friends and stop along the way to say hi.  No profanity, bullying, harasment, stalking or other unwanted behaviour. 

 

 

 

Terms of Use:
This is not a personal web site, it is a Safe site to share within your community; To share your point of view, your pictures, blogs to share with family and friends and a place to meet new neighbors along the Highway. Please feel free to contribute about yourself, but please do not post personal contact information such as your full name, phone number, personal address or school or work addresses.

You may include links to other non-commercial websites. Your page must not be used to promote any specific product or service. (Click to see how we can help you promote your product or service.) You may not include any copyrighted material or material copied from another web site (other than your own).

Your page must be in good taste, CRhighway is a family-oriented site.  If it would embarrass my mother, it won't make it to our site. The Highway is not for the promotion of any specific religion, race, or political group. These are personal pages, and should not be driven by a political or social agenda. (You may post or contribute to a blog with a political or social topic.)

Yes, we will review, edit, and otherwise monitor all pages, postings, photos, audio and video. We reserve the right to edit or reject any material you send to us.  We will warn abusers, delete unruly members and can block bad guys from joining in the future.

 

• Do play nice.
  We're a community of many types of people, who all have the right to feel comfortable and who may not think what you think, believe what you believe or see what you see. So, be polite and respectful in your interactions with other members. 
   
• Do upload photos that you've taken.
  Respect the copyright of others. This means don't steal photographs that other people have taken and pass them off as your own. (That’s what favorites are for.) 
   
• Do moderate your content.
  You need to take responsibility for ensuring that what you upload is appropriately flagged. If your judgment proves to be poor, we'll moderate your account to match appropriate ratings for safe search and/or content type and send you a warning.

What not to do:  In most circumstances, we like to give second chances, so we’ll send you a warning if you step across any of the lines listed below. Subsequent violations can result in account termination without warning.

• Do not post personal contact information such as your full name, phone number, personal address or school, work addresses. Your account will be reviewed and you will be asked to alter or your account will be terminated by our administrators. 
   
• Don’t upload anything that isn't yours.
  This includes other people's photographs and/or stuff that you've collected from around the Internet. Accounts that consist primarily of such collections may be terminated at any time. 
   
• Don’t forget your family and kids.
  If you would hesitate to show your photos and posts to your child, mom, or great uncle, that means it is not for our community.  So, ask yourself would mom approve as you upload your photos and post your blogs, if mom wouldn’t approve, it’s likely that one of two things will happen. Your account will be reviewed and you will be asked to alter or your account will be terminated by our administrators. 
   
• Don’t show nudity in your icon, photos or videos.
  If we find you doing that, we’ll terminate your account. 
   
• Don’t upload content that is illegal or prohibited.
  If we find you doing that, your account will be deleted and we'll take appropriate action, which may include reporting you to the authorities. 
   
• Don’t vent your frustrations, rant, or bore the brains out of other members.
  101 Happens is not a venue for you to intimidate, harass, abuse or impersonate, or others. If we receive a valid complaint about your conduct, we’ll send you a warning and/or terminate your account. 
   
• Don’t be creepy. (even in jest)
  If we determine you have unethical intentions or conduct your account will be deleted and we'll take appropriate action, which may include reporting you to the authorities. 
   
• Don’t use your account to host web graphics like logos and banners.
  Your account will be terminated if we find you using it to host graphic elements of web page designs, icons, smilies, buddy icons, forum avatars, badges, and other non-photographic elements on external web sites. 
  
• Don’t use your community account for commercial purposes.
  The CRHighway is for personal use only. If we find you selling products, services, or yourself through your photostream, we will terminate your account. The CRHighway offers appropriate advertising, sponsorship and promotional opportunities.  Any other commercial use of CRHighway technologies or CRHighway accounts must be approved.

You will see all sorts of things on the Highway. If you are offended by a photo or If you think there's immediate cause for concern, you can report content and/or someone’s behavior.

These guidelines are to ensure that everyone within the community feels this is a “safe” clean wholesome place for everyone young and old to enjoy.  We’re all in this together so it’s important that you understand the importance of moderating your content responsibly.
